Who Can Claim This Funding?
  • Registered SMEs (incorporated entities, co-operatives, or registered farmer groups)
  • Youth-owned enterprises
  • Women-owned businesses
  • Existing businesses or start-ups in priority sectors
  • Operating in agriculture, agro-processing, manufacturing, tourism, or renewable energy
  • Must demonstrate business viability through feasibility study/business plan
  • Must provide adequate collateral
How to Claim
  1. Complete application form at www.udbl.co.ug (online) or visit UDB Tower

  2. Prepare documents:

  • Application form
  • Board resolution to borrow
  • Certificate of incorporation
  • Business plan with cash flow projections
  • Last 2 years audited accounts
  • Credit reference bureau report
  • Collateral documentation with valuations
  • Proof of NSSF compliance
  1. Submit to UDB Head Office or Post Bank branch

  2. UDB evaluates application (4-6 weeks)

  3. Board approval and loan disbursement
