Overview

Create documentation that makes complex AI systems understandable and usable. Typical projects: API documentation, user guides, architecture documents, runbooks, training materials. You'll work with engineers and consultants to extract information, structure content, and write clear explanations. Projects are well-scoped with defined deliverables and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit technical documentation for AI systems
  • Interview engineers and subject matter experts to gather information
  • Structure and organize documentation for different audiences
  • Create diagrams and visual aids to explain complex concepts
  • Review and edit documentation from other contributors
  • Maintain documentation standards and style guides

Requirements

  • 3+ years writing technical documentation (APIs, SDKs, developer tools)
  • Portfolio demonstrating clear, concise technical writing
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts
  • Experience working with engineers to extract and clarify information
